CALMAG – THE CLASSIC DRINK – Add Water And Sip!
Yes, you just drink it, but let us help you make it yummier!
As with all instant CalMag, of course you just add hot water, but let’s say you are trying to lose weight and/or don’t want the ‘sugar rush’ or the ‘sugar substitute aftertaste’ but think that plain is -well- plain boring.
We have the remedy! Give your CalMag a yummy healthy spin, try adding 2 bags of your favorite herbal tea to the brew. Our favorite is Cranberry-Raspberry or even Raspberry-Pomegranate tea (unsweetened). After you boil the hot water and add cal-mag, while the water is hot–simply add a double tea bag bomb of your favorite herbal tea. Voila, deep cleaning, herbal, healthy and most importantly-yummy (oh and relaxing too!).
CALMAG – THE TOOTHPASTE – (Yes, we really mean toothpaste).
Take your container of Calmag and using a glass jar, old jam container or honey pot simply add 3-4 spoons of your awesome CalMag powder, 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil, some peppermint essential oil, ( orange or grapefruit are also good alternates – if you don’t like peppermint). Adding a 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda is optional.
Put it in your bathroom cupboard and the next time you brush your teeth. Try a sugar free, floride-free, chemical-free, naturally healthy, nice tasting + relaxing homemade toothpaste. (note: you can also skip the other ingredients and just dip your toothbrush right in the CalMag jar–just don’t let your mom or significant other catch you 🙂
CALMAG – THE FACE SCRUB – Did you know your skin drinks too?
Using your CalMag, simply put 1-2 teaspoons of CalMag in your palm when you hop into the shower. Rinse your face with water as hot as you can stand it for at least 1 minute, using 2 fingers simply dip them in your Calmag and apply to your face, scrubbing in small circles. You don’t have to press hard. The natural ever-so-mildly abrasive powder works very gently to clean out your pores and give you soft skin. It’s less expensive than most face products and more natural too!
You will notice that your skin will look cleaner and healthier. You don’t need to use soap as well, simply rinse the mix off with warm water and then finish with cool water, to close your pores.
Excellent natural moisturizers to apply afterwards are Jojoba oil, Coconut oil or Almond oil. Just rub 2-3 drops in your hands, rub together and apply to your face. You can pat off the excess with a towel if you want. (This natural oil method works as a great undercoat to prevent make up from clogging your pores too).
CALMAG – THE RELAXING MINERAL BATH (nope, no 5 mile hike to a hidden sacred spring..just add cal mag and hop in the tub!
The simplest rule to remember about the human body is that it “takes a substance to make the substance.” If your own Liver is bad, eat some good chicken or beef liver, If you hit your head (brain) playing Football or Soccer and you need to fix it, take some Fish Oil or Coconut Oil and Nutritional Yeast (or Liver for protein + B-complex) and drink water (the brain is made up of water, fat and nerves -so what else could be best to fix your brain? (Potassium and Bromelain also helps for swelling).
The moral of the story is, if you want to relax your muscles and strengthen your bones, use these vital minerals to help you. Don’t stop at simply sipping your CalMag, bathe in it too, it really does help!
Simply fill a hot bath, add 1/2 a cup of Cal mag powder to a cup of boiling water and stir, then pour that mix into your bath water and soak in it for 30 mins to an hour. You will find it both relaxing and remedial.
Also, optional for a fresh naturally beautiful scent: You can add 4-5 drops of essential oil of peppermint, orange, lemon or grapefruit oil to your bath to both freshen up your skin and add an extra touch to your relaxing bath! Warning: The peppermint can be a little minty in all of those places too-so don’t go overboard!
AND, FINALLY, CALMAG – THE FOOT BATH: yes, even your footsies need love…
Fill a foot bath with hot water and add 1/8 cup with CalMag powder, a few drops of peppermint, lavender or eucalyptus oil makes it tingly too!
